We are proud to inform you that Obserwatorium.biz has been approved as an ETSI Full Member.
ETSI is a European Standards Organization (ESO). ETSI is the recognised regional standards body dealing with telecommunications, broadcasting and other electronic communications networks and services.
ETSI supports European regulations and legislation through the creation of Harmonised European Standards. Only standards developed by the three ESOs (CEN, CENELEC and ETSI) are recognised as European Standards (ENs).
ETSI counts more than 900 member organisations worldwide from over 60 countries and five continents. The list of members contains Apple, Google, Microsoft, Samsung and many other IT market leaders. In Poland, the list of members covers 11 organisations: Apple Poland, Intel Technology Poland, LG Electronics Poland, National Institute of Telecom, Nokia Poland, Samsung Electronics Polska, Systemics PAB, T-Mobile Polska and UKE (Office of Electronic Communications).
Obserwatorium.biz experts will contribute to Technical Committee Electronic Signature Infrastructure (TC ESI).
TC ESI is responsible for standardisation within ETSI, supporting current and upcoming technology for Electronic Signatures and related services (e.g. registered electronic delivery, electronic seals) and trust service infrastructures supporting such services. Standards created by ESI support eIDAS Regulation and as well general commercial requirements.
TC ESI is the lead body within ETSI concerning electronic signatures, related services, and trust services to protect electronic transactions and ensure trust and confidence with business partners, including preparing reports and other necessary activities.
One of the main activities of Obserwatorium.biz experts will be the development of standards for the European Digital Identity Wallet following the eIDAS2 Regulation. The work plan is to draft a standard for Wallet interfaces to support the issuance of electronic attestations of attributes and the creation of qualified electronic signatures.
Obserwatorium.biz is also active in the banking sector, and we use this cross-business experience to support ETSI standardisation in PSD2 directive, Open Banking and Strong Customer Authentication.
