The report “The energy of digitalisation – The evolution and current state of digital service channels used by power and gas companies in Poland”, prepared by experts from Obserwatorium.biz and Impact CEE, is aimed at identifying the progress of digitalisation in the Polish energy and gas supply sectors.

The report focuses in particular on the headways made thus far into the digitalisation of customer service and payment processes within these sectors, presented on the basis of expert research and mystery shopping. The aim of the report is to identify barriers to digital transformation within these areas of the energy sector and to help find ways to overcome these barriers to promote the digitalisation of processes, such as customer acquisition, upselling, after-sales service, payment automation, and others. The report draws upon dedicated research, the latest market data, and expert opinions, and is additionally enhanced with examples from foreign markets.

The report was unveiled on 6-7 December 2017 at the Impact FinTech 17 conference in Katowice.
