Warsaw, 23 November 2017 – The independent Polish consulting agency  Obserwatorium.biz and the leading global consulting firm Accenture have published the first Polish report on electronic services in Poland – “Breakthrough in on-line services. Development of trust services in Poland.”

“The subject of the security of electronic transactions and appropriate legal arrangements surrounding these services is reachingan increasing number of market segments. The banking market is looking for a universal durable medium solution that would secure correspondence between banks and customers, including electronic contracts. Institutions from the services sectors who serve millions of customers, such as telecommunications and energy entities, are looking for universal solutions that would enable them to digitally sign service agreements with individual and business customers. The public administration is also making known their need for secured services, and current eID mechanisms may be inadequate for this purpose (e.g. in services for businesses). Trust services can address these needs thanks to the clear regulatory framework and the readiness of Polish providers to supply these types of products. Polish citizens and businesses are ready to do more of their daily business online. The next step in the digital transformation in Poland will be to provide trust services that will serve as secure mechanisms for making remote statements of will” – says Miłosz Brakoniecki, Partner and Member of the Management Board in Obserwatorium.biz.

The report was published under the Honorary Patronage of the Ministry of Digitisation and the Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications, and in Partnership with Asseco Data Systems S.A. and the National Clearing House. The Report was also published under the Media Patronage of: Gazeta Bankowathe “Bank” monthlythe cashless.pl website and aleBank.pl.

The Report was unveiled this year on 23 November at the Digital Champions ’17 conference.

The main conclusions of the Report are included in the press release, available for download.
