The winners of this year’s ranking, which assesses the quality of banking services and products in Poland, will be announced at the Golden Banker gala on 11 April 2019. The Golden Banker project, organized since 2009 by Bankier.pl and “Puls Biznesu” in cooperation with Obserwatorium.biz, Kantar TNS, and strategic partners such as MasterCard and Securing, continues its mission to determine the directions of development of Polish banking.
In 2019, the multichannel service quality survey covered 16 central banks, including Santander Bank Polska, Bank Millennium, and Getin Noble Bank. The survey included:
- Visits to 915 branches.
- The opening of 96 personal accounts.
- The activation of e-banking services.
- Nine hundred sixty remote contacts with banks to assess the quality of service through various channels.
The Golden Bank 2019 in the Best Multichannel Service Quality category went to Santander Bank Polska, highlighting its high efficiency in integrating customer services. Bank Millennium and Getin Noble Bank came second and third, respectively, demonstrating their commitment to exceptional customer service.
The unique ‘Safe Bank—Best Practices’ category focused on the security of online and mobile banking systems. mBank, Bank Millennium, and Getin Noble Bank were awarded in this category for implementing best practices in digital security.
The Golden Banker Gala recognized the power of innovation, with PKO Bank Polski and Coinfirm leading the way in the FinTech sector. mBank’s award for behavioral biometrics and BNP Paribas Bank Polska’s paperless solution with Autenti are shining examples of how our industry is evolving. These achievements should inspire us all to strive for excellence.
In addition, Santander Bank Polska was awarded for the best personal account and cash loan, Citi Handlowy for the best credit card, and PKO Bank Polski for the best advertisement. Bank Millennium was recognized as a socially sensitive bank and ING Bank Śląski for its social media activities.
The survey results are available in special reports prepared by KANTAR TNS and Obserwatorium.biz. These reports provide detailed information on the quality of services and products banks offer. The organizers invite representatives of the banking community to purchase these reports, which can help improve the quality of services further.
