Exploring rising stars of digital identity
On June 16, a free online webinar was held in Warsaw under the Trusted Economy Forum brand: Exploring rising stars of digital identity. The event, streamed live from the Centre for Information Technology (Centralny Ośrodek Informatyki) in Warsaw, focused on current trends, innovations, and future developments in the field of digital identity, as well as topics related to eIDAS 2.0 and the European Digital Identity Wallet.
During the webinar, experts discussed, among other topics:
– the rapidly developing eID and trust services markets in Central and Eastern Europe, as well as markets outside Europe,
– the readiness of individual countries in the context of preparations for eIDAS 2.0 (digital identity wallets, new trust services, certifications),
– involvement of local government agencies, qualified trust service providers (QTSPs, TSPs), financial sector providers, as well as startups operating in the eID and digital transformation markets.
